What's the Difference Between a Flex Desk and a Serviced Office?

Flexible desks, or hot desks, are basically an on-demand service. You sign up for either a daily, weekly, or monthly plan and you can use a desk (any desk) in a shared space as many times as you want. Some coworking spaces are open all night, which means you can walk in and get to work as soon as inspiration strucks.

Another option is serviced offices. Instead of having to rent a whole floor for your small company or endeavour, you can rent one in a shared space. The office remains yours to use, but the terms are much more flexible. Just keep in mind that different offices will have different terms and conditions. For example, some might limit your flex hours depending on your plan. Most of them, however, include extra services like unlimited tea and coffee, the usage of meeting rooms, and in some cases, gyms and bars.
