Located in central Oxford, just off St Giles’, Regent’s Park College (colloquially known as Regent’s) is a permanent private hall of the University of Oxford.
Founded in 1810, it moved to its present location in 1927, and became a licensed university hall in 1957. The college now admits both undergraduates and graduates for courses in arts, humanities, and social science.
Since before the mid-20th century, it is one of the few academic institutions in the University of Oxford to admit women as well as men, with women attending since the 1920s. The college also trains men and women for ordained ministry.
